The Spanish Society for Organic Farming SEAE will organise its 9th Scientific Congress on organic farming in Lleida, the agricultural capital of Catalonia, October 6 to 9, 2010, to be held at the University of Lleida (UDL).
The congress is organized in different sessions or panels that will address different topics such as:
- Development cooperation and globalization;
- Biodiversity and cultivation practices;
- Plant production and comparative studies;
- Plant health, soil fertility and plant nutrition;
- Marketing, consumption and distribution food
- Processing and food quality;
- Livestock;
- Animal welfare and beekeeping;
- Policy support for organic agriculture;
- Action Plans;
- Legislation, regulations and certification;
- Training, research and consultancy, rural development, climate change.
Deadline to submit abstracts is March 31, 2010.
