Ilse A. Rasmussen started as Organic Eprints coordinator at ICROFS (www.icrofs.org) in October 2010. Her main responsibilities are the coordination and development of the open access online archive Organic Eprints (www.orgprints.org). Ilse is responsible for the contact to European partners and country editors. It is her task to strengthen the international collaboration and contact new potential country editors. She participates in international projects on development and use of Organic Eprints and integration of metadata from it to other open-access-platforms. She also contributes to information and dissemination of research.
Ilse was formerly employed as a senior scientist at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Aarhus University, from 1989 to 2010. Ilse contributed to developing the education department and was responsible for the bachelor course on organic farming and participated in developing the masters course on organic farming. For several years she was thematic coordinator on plant production in the public advisory service of the faculty. In addition, Ilse was also previoiusly an advisor in organic farming and a teacher of organic farming. In 2010 Ilse was employed five months at the Danish Environmental Protection Agency. Ilse has a M.Sc. in Agronomy.
