The goal of the symposium was to make a first state-of-the-art on the current organic beekeeping practices in the different countries and to develop common organic beekeeping standards and strategies.

The next conference will be organised by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL, Naturland and local partners in 2012 in Mexico.
