The title of this year’s Science Day is “Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange - Challenges of the Organic Sector”. The event will serve to discuss progress of TP Organics' new Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda which will be published at the end of this year. This new Agenda will be an important input to the preparations of Horizon Europe.
In addition, the new Organic Farm Knowledge platform will be launched. The Organic Farm Knowledge platform provides access to a wide range of tools and resources related to organic farming. It promotes the exchange of knowledge among farmers, farm advisers, and scientists, with the aim of increasing productivity and quality in organic farming across Europe.
During the policy debate, moderated by Bram Moeskops, Senior Scientific Coordinator of TP Organics, Hanns-Christoph Eiden, President Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung, and Alberto D’Avino, Deputy Head of Unit Research & Innovation, DG Agriculture and Rural Development, European Commission (TBC) will discuss how innovation and knowledge exchange between researchers, farmers, and food SMEs in the organic sector can be promoted.
